Photographer's Note

It was a hot sunny afternoon but in less than 2 hours, the sky turned into a stormy mood with this bluish tint. The threat of a storm is very real in Kuching where it lies just about 1.5 degree above the Equator. When going out at the wet season from Oct-Feb, umbrellas are advised to be ready - dont leave home without them. Although we do not really need tall government office buildings like these shown here because we have plenty of land and green space, we are lucky to be out of earthquake zone.

The building at foreground houses the Land and Environment Departments whereas the other building behind is the Government Ministry offices, located at the north side of Sarawak River. A nice place to work amongst the green but it is about 20 minutes drive from the city.
