Photographer's Note

I have posted earlier on Santubong beach near Sarawak River mouth. After the rain, the light was not so harsh but the polarizer helped to avoid glare on the wet mud. As the sea tide dropped, the muddy beach was exposed to show a lot of mangrove roots (which I posted here). As Santubong area is still very much preserved in natural state without much development to spoil the environment, you can see the mangrove trees although I suspect they were already dimished drastically from decades ago.

The lack of strong sunlight on this late afternoon provided a soft water color scene of this beach, where I had also posted fishermen on the sandbar. This view is a far cry from the winter snow that is arriving on many parts of northern hemisphere the past 1-2 weeks. We may see some of them coming this way for Xmas holiday?
