Photographer's Note

Every Saturday around 11am just before office hour is over, this carparking area at Jalan Satok is turned into Sunday market to allow farmers to bring fresh and jungle produce to sell until Sunday noon. Over the years, the place has been made popular by cheap choices of shopping for food items. Crowded with people, you will find many tourists dropping by as this place is now placed on the Sarawak Tourism Board's list.

Sections selling kitchen ware, clothing, fruits, meat, plants and everything you can find. Cheap and fresh. On a rain day, business may be slower because of wet inconvenience. But every weekend, people converge here to find what they need. In this corner, fertilizer and driftwood furniture is for sale. You can tell that I am not very good at market shooting because so many distractions and obstructions are in the way and I am still unable to find my choice, agree?
