Photographer's Note

A penumbral lunar eclipse will take place on February 9, 2009, the first of four penumbral lunar eclipses in 2009. It will also be the deepest of the four. The eclipse will not be visible in the East coast of the United States, South America and southernmost Mexico, Western Africa and western Europe. Best visibility will be over most of Asia, the Western US, Mexico and throughout the Pacific region. It is also the last day of CNY celebration, in Hokkien dialect, they call it Chap Goh Meh.

Photo info does not have actual 10s speed used here, so I have to manually set it to 8s. Many cars and traffic passed through this roundabout, so the tail lights gave me a good cheefful red reflection on the road curbs. This cat has been seen in my earlier posting but this time, they put a red Chinese-styled coat on him. A few light and lantern are also put up here. This particular cat is the most photographed symbol in Kuching, many people stopped their cars by the roadside and stepped out to shoot this cat. While shooting this, at least 10 cars were seen stopping.
