60 to 80 kilos of sulfur on the shoulder ... an inhuman work!
On the slopes of the Kawah Ijen craters, the sulfur workers carry baskets of sulfur blocks, it takes an hour and a half to descend the volcano slope to deliver the load and earn about 10 euros a day for two deliveries, that is to say two return journeys ... a job as a convict!
