Photographer's Note

Photgraph of a Chinese Calligrapher.

China is the world's oldest ongoing civilization.
It is known for many beautiful forms of art- silk painting, pottery, paper cutting, kite making, and calligraphy.

During my last travel to China I had a chance to visit the famous park “Window of The World Park” in Shen-Zhen. In that park I saw a famous calligrapher “Mr. Wei Kiangling”.
He at first asked about my name and family name and then he composed a poem using first letters of my name. In other word each paragraph started with a word of my name consequently.
Then he started writing using brush and ink on special paper (rice paper which is hand made).
After finishing his job he signed and stamped the bottom of paper and rolled it and gave it to me.

During his writing I took several pictures, which choose this for uploading.

P.P. jobs: Just adding some contrast, resizing and compressing.
With Best Wishes,
Jay.
