Photographer's Note

I always seem to get back to South Africa somehow. Such a diverse country is hard to find anywhere else.

This picture is from the early sunrise in Krόger National Park. We started early from the nearby town of Hazyview to reach the park opening. It didn't take long before we saw impalas, elephants and a lioness with her four babies. And this beautiful sunrise.

Krόger is one of the most famous parks to see Africa's so-called "big 5" (Lions, elephants, rhinos, water buffalos and leopards) and other animals that lives on the savannah. The park is just slightly smaller than the state of Israel, with almost 20,000 sq.km.
