Photographer's Note
A shot taken on the beach after the tide had gone out at Witsand, Overberg - on blistering late afternoon. Spotted a lone dog walker in the distance who was the only person just appeared in the right place on this part of relatively deserted coastline. She was too far to realise that she was being photographed, thought it would add some interest to this windy seascape.

A wonderful view of the coastline with beautiful rich colours, the warm tones of the sand, the blue sea and the green hills in the background go really well together. The light was very pleasant too and the lonely person walking their dog is a great addition.

I like the wide angled panoramic format and the soft fg focus shifting attention towards the bg. Good reflections and the red shirt of the person stands out well against the blue sea above them. Tfs!

I've owned a couple of dogs in my time...but I've never taken them to the beach - damn! Now I want another dog haha
its a fine scene, horizontally spread out in layers. the long dry sand, the blue ocean, the green landscape and the blue/white sky...beautiful! lovely shot

Hello Abmdsudi, a lovely wide and long stretch of beach, with just a single person + dog; and that person conveniently wearing red!
It looks like a painting.
I like the inclusion of that little bit of rock/stones in the fg to 'ground' us the viewers.
