Photographer's Note

This is another view of a typical Anti Atlas village. After having posted one that is perched on the top of a hill, another one that stands on a plateau (Tioulit I and II), now I present you this one in the bottom of a deep valley.

I am not absolutely sure, but my guess is that I shot this one while standing in the Tizi Mill pass, at 1800 meters high, and the valley is already the Amelm Valley, a region amazingly densely populated in such aridness - guide books mention 27 villages in a few Kms(!).

I posted other two photos as WS's with tighter pov's of the lower and upper parts of the village. I like the details on those, but I have preferred to show more of the nature where the village is immersed.

You can browse all of my posts of this region by following this link.

Location (latitude, longitude): 29.75,-8.86 (I am not sure about the accuracy, but my guess is that the error isn't higher than a 6 Kms / 4 miles)
