Photographer's Note

The great wildebeest migration is spectaular at any time of the year whether it is on the lush grass plains of the Southern Serengeti or in the Masai Mara. October sees the tail end of the big herds moving south to the Serengeti in Tanzania where they will give birth. Crossing the Mara river is dangerous although the year that we were there the drought had reduced the river level and it was an easier crossing. These three stragglers ran across, mostly without needing to swim, although there were three crocodiles waiting for them - but the wildebeest made it across!
Today I have added a WS to show the crocodile attack as some of you thought that it would have been good to have included the crocs - enjoy!
