Great avene 2008-10-01 14:20

olα Zeca,
yes, the famous El Caminito, I can never grow tired looking at the photos from there. the colours are fantastic, and here I particularly like how the play of light and shadows in the foreground mirror the patterns of the woodwork on the houses.
I see others have already commented about the dark upper right corner. I normally don't have any problem with polarised corners, but this one here looks quite strange, and very different from the opposite corner. I don't think it takes away something from the photo, I'm just curious about the reason. and I really, REALLY hope I'll get to see the place with my own eyes some time soon :)

Default To avene: rain

Hi Kristine!
There was some rain coming fast and the strong sun from noon on the colourful faηades increase the contrast of dark and sun when I measure on it. Of course that I've increased the contrast even more pp a little bit the image, so the result is this. Its really a nice place to visit.
Thank you, Kristine!

thanks for the explanation, the rain cloud might have been responsible for that dark corner.

take care,
