Great rigoletto 2007-05-28 3:29

I don't know whether this is you or not Gilad, and don't think this is so bad!
Futher to say, i love its simplicity and the clarity of the drop. And how this simple and tiny drop is full of life inside. It looks like an allegory of the earth in universe: so tiny and full of life in the middle of endless emptiness. The tone of blue is breathtaking, and i am sure my monitor is fully calibrated. Congrats,
Deniz

:D
Dear Mr. Grabarczyk,
Thank you for the vigorous collection, it should have really taken your time :)
Yes, i've also seen many drops, teardrops included, but this one is different in some aspect, maybe more abstract in concept rather than a regular nature macro. What attracts me here is mostly the presentation of the drop in front of a deep blue. This is why for the first time i am writing to a drop :)
So i am still picking this one out of that many...
Great great sunday to you too. And thanx again for the collection. With your help, this forum has become a place for coming back again and again.
Deniz

IMHO:
This picture is out of focus...
The whole idea of macro is...FOCUS !!!!!
At least one tiny pixel of it... Somewhere... It must be...
a FOCUS !!!!!
Gilad is one of the TOP photographers on the site.
Whole pack of most incredible pictures in his gallery.
Top of the class !!!

And this picture of his sucks...
Amen.

So, the fact that there are several shots of drops suggests that maybe it's not me that submitted this?
I just try to follow the reason you thought it wasn't really me

There is focus inside the drop, in the reflection. You may tnot like it, but focus is a fact and the fact is that there is focus here

Ah, yes, Gilad is right. The focus is inside the drop really. I had to look again for seeing this. But Mr. Polonaise may need new binoculars in order to see it, LOLL.

(ok ok, after such insult, i'm goin' back into my mess)

"So, the fact that there are several shots of drops suggests that maybe it's not me that submitted this?"

True...
I had my suspicions... (:-))).
You're simply too good for this kind of crap, Gilad
The gap in quality (in comparison to your other posts) is simply to wide to accept...
Your other pictures are UNIQUE, in your and only your style shown to us…
This one is very common theme (beginning level' project in EVERY photographing training program. It's called: A life in the droplet of water… blah…blah..blah..) and you better be good at it, if published on TE…

-------------------------------

Focus…?
The whole idea of focus is to be visible right away, and not with the help of others…
Something as obvious as water…I prefer it to be rather wet, instead of telling me which part of it is wet…
--------------------------
Allow me Gilad to be your fan…
My list of the bestests on the site hasn't been changed in months…
Don't push it, pal.

(:-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Love & peace may be upon both of you, guys..
g.
