yes, it was hard lighting for you on this one, but what can you do when its a spontaneous type of scene, you just have to go with what you have. and honestly speaking, its a wonderful moment with the boy trying to push it. cool moment to have it captured forever, i'm sure his parents would enjoy a copy :)

Hello Jimmy,

I've been to the top of Peralta trail a few times as well, once even in the dark to catch the igniting of the Needle's tip by the rising sun. On my bucket list is climbing the Flatiron to photograph a full moon rising behind and resting on the Needle.

And, I've been (I think) where you suggested via a scramble east from the point where the Carney Springs trail crests its saddle. When I did that there were cairns marking the way, but, when I was up there this fall, I didn't see the cairns, so I don't know whether that route is still in use.

If/when you look at today's photo ("Exposed"), check its workshop and let me know which version you like best.
