Great robiuk 2006-03-01 18:57

I, too, am impressed by the outcome of your use of ISO 1600, even it's the D70. Have no experience with the 1B, though, so can't make any comments.
My critique would be a mixture between Jean Yves' and Ebbe's, with the addition that face expressions of the two ladies also tell a story.
I find that thin white frame within the vast black area a bit distracting, but hey - that's up to one's taste, isn't it?
Overall, I'm very pleased with what you've offered tonight and am looking forward to seeing more.

Default To robiuk: White frame

Hi Robi. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I was also hesitating about the white frame. I wanted to use a black outer frame, to let the eyes getting used to the dark image and to bring out the details in the picture. To separate the black frame from the picture I used a white line. I still think that the white line should be there, but perhaps it should be 1 pixel thick (like in my previous picture) instead of 2 pixels.
