Having read some of the posts about the lack of critiques, I have an idea that may help. If it's been suggested before - ignore it and forgive me!
Perhaps we should have a "credit" system, whereby you may only upload photographs if you have "credits" in the "bank". You get credits by writing critiques. So for example if you write two critiques, you have two credits and can upload two photographs (of course within the limit of 2 per day). In this way, there will always be as many critiques as there are photos. I realise of course that some of the members here write more than their share of critiques anyway, but it would perhaps encourage the not-so-generous members to post critiques more often. Any thoughts? Piotr You could of course make it 1 credit for two critiques, etc. |

"Any thoughts?"
This has been suggested before. It will definitely not be implemented because this would encourage some members to post non-thoughtful critiques just to get the credits. |

Why not to give credits for useful critiques and withdraw for irrelevant? :-)

Well, I imagine what would happen is certain groups would form to give each other 'usefuls' no matter what. |
