Hello Klaudio, I have seen lyrebird on the pictures only, not even in the zoo, so what a great joy to see the photo of this magnificent bird free. And you had it so close to you. Fantastic. I see that it rather runs fast than flies. Amazing plumage. You can be very proud of this picture. (But most people on TE appreciate more just the whatever house against the blue sky... )

Hi Malgo. Apparently it's the courting season (in Autumn!!) so during my walk I heard a few males making calls and they can be quite loud. Sometimes you think it's another bird you are hearing, but it's the lyrebird mimicking others.The actual call of the lyre is like a small hammer hitting an anvil, sharp and clear.
