Great tyro 2010-11-26 16:42

Hello Finlay,

"Thank God", indeed! What a fine picture of a lovely venerable old vehicle, obviously well cared for and well maintained. Of course, old vehicles become rattly and creaky, just like we do, but, if lovingly looked after, they can go on forever - unlike us! What a shame that these lovely 'buses are going to be replaced by some modern and probably expensive transport system. Perhaps I should plan a holiday to Malta and Gozo before they disappear.

This is a fine shot, displaying this lovely vehicle in her daily work.

Best Wishes,

John.

P.S. As a lover of old vehicles, I posted a picture of my own 1935 Austin Ten saloon on TrekLens a couple of years ago.

Default To tyro: thanks

Thanks for your comments John. Had a look at your Austin Ten. A really beauty, obviously very well cared for. You must be proud of her.

Finlay
