New Full Size Panorama Feature Available

I had the following error problem when trying to upload :
Failed to resize photo. (error 28)
Invalid photo_insert_raw_query

Could you check ? The panorama was about 2000x600 and 360 Kb.

I believe this has been fixed. Thanks for letting me know.

By the way, photos which are linked to large-sized panoramas now display 'LP' in the thumnail image to indicate this.

A little suggestion. As the "normal" size image almost becomes a thumbnail for the large size picture, it feels logical that I should get to the large size image by clicking the normal size one. I have clicked the image several times already without thinking. :)

Is it possible for you to make the images link to the large ones for the large post photos?

There are a couple of reasons why I don't think I should do this:

1. The page display would be awkward as the right aligned text would not be visible since the page would be stretched far outside the normal viewing area.

2. To conserve bandwidth, I'd rather not have viewers download the entire image by default unless they really do want to take a closer look.

All thumbnails should now display the 'LP' symbol which should make it easier to determine whether a large-sized image is available.

You misunderstand me. I mean that clicking the 800 pixel wide picture, the middle size so to say, should link to the large image. Not just the tiny text link that you get today.

So, you could do it like this.

1. Click the thumbnail in the gallery, get to the same page as today, with the medium size image and all commentary.

2. Click the medium size image to get to the large version, that looks just like it does today.

Hmmm Adam, I have this paranoma picture Cloudy Singapore. I went to manage section and there wasn't any Large Post.

Hi Louis

An image has have a greater aspect ration than 2.5:1 for the large post function to work. Your image is just below that. A picture that is 800 pixels wide can only be 320 pixels high, or less, to comply to this.

I posted a resized pic 1 Hr Before Rain. This pic is 800px × 300px but I still can't do any LP.
