Great Suppiluliuma 2012-04-13 9:04

This one is nice too, Dear Ryno, especially in terms of the body gesture, the angle and the expression on his face. Nonetheless, it also has, IMHO, the usual shortcomings that most photographers (foremost, myself) face while taking pictures in a "Mevlevihane", the house of the "mevlevis".

The first is the counter light of the window. The second, the interwined mevlevis in the background.

Hoping you don't mind my remarks about the note in instalments, but his name is Celaleddin. :-)

TFS.

Erdem

Default To Suppiluliuma: Corrections

Thanks again for the interest and the correction, Erdem. I lived in Turkey for six years, but my knowledge of the language and culture is still very faulty, as you can see. I will adjust my notes accordingly.
As far as the question of light goes, it can be difficult to manage. In this particular image I quite like the backlight, as well as the steeple silhouette in the window.
Best regards
Ryno
