Great holmertz 2020-01-02 0:47

Hello Gyrgy,
I like both versions, but maybe the B&W has a more interesting atmosphere. The contrast between light and darkness is stronger in B&W, and the Silver Effex tones somehow makes it look more sophisticated. Another advantage of this version is that it's smaller, because of the black frame, so I don't have to see the big chunks of meat so clearly. Nowadays I eat rather small portions of meat and much more vegetables, so this is rather too much for my appetite. I doubt that this chef has ever heard the word "vegetable" (or even nvnytermő).
Best wishes for the new year.

Dear Gert,

I understand you: when I was younger (under 25 I would say) I was eating meat with meat and consumed some meat as dessert. Nowadays (with my 32 years) I often find myself opting for meatless menu at the canteen. Of course I cannot imagine not eating a good steak or trotters at all! The man was selling the latest alongside with sausages.
The word nvnytermő is a mistranslation committed by the google translate. Sadly enough, while it works good enough (even to translate legal documents or laws for reading) among English, French, German and other wide-spread languages, it has problems with Hungarian language. Vegetable is the 'zldsg' and vegetarian is translated either as 'vegetrinus' (here we implemented the original word with Hungarian alphabets) or 'nvnyevő' (the latest is made from two words, meaning someone who eats vegetables).

Thank you for your kind words on the photo!
I wish you a happy new year too!

Occasionally I send Swedish newspaper clips to Malgo. I always translate them to English, which will be reasonably correct, and which I can check, but Google can't handle a translation from Swedish to Polish, or vice versa. I think Hungarian is also like the dark side of the moon for the big US company.
