Default Eduardo Masferre (1909-1995)

The biggest population of TE members come from France.
I would like to know if the majority of our French photo enthusiasts here at TE know him.

I am not sure though if Masferre was 100% french or his father was a french and the mother was filipina. Nevertheless, during his years, he photographed almost entirely of the people from the Cordillera region and in the town of the scenic Sagada,Philippines. There is a museum there showing most of his works.

On this link you would find samples of his works: http://www.aenet.org/ifugao/masfere.htm

while extremely busy deciding who is the tallest, prettiest, sexiest, the most popular or filthy rich we might loose the object of this thread and that is an interesting photographer: Eduardo Masferre.

thanks for the link/reference alex!
why didn't you post straight in the 'photography' forum?

Oooops, sorry about that Scott... forgot that photgraphers are very sensitive...

Ooops again... about his nationality...but I guess its not really important.

Thanks for the link Dora.

Dora, is it still possible to link it to the Photography Forum? I was not aware of that forum before and would like to do it there to shake off some dirt off the lens...

Thanks again, Alex

Alex,
Who's sensitive?
I just thought you'd want to know the right facts because you were waaaaaay off. lol
I'd be glad to show you where to find the stats!
No need to be sorry.
