Great PaulVDV 2019-09-17 12:57

Hello Malgo,
These three pictures don't make me think of Kerala but rather of the river Irrawaddy. At the time I made a boat trip from Mandalay to Bagan (if I remember correctly).
The Irrawaddy was very wide and the surrounding country relatively flat and the boats that we saw along the way were fairly paltry.
So far I've never heard of the Lemro river but it looks a bit like the Irrawaddy.
It was clearly adventurous travelling in Rakhine.
Best regards, Paul

Talking To PaulVDV: Irrawaddy

Hello Paul,
Thanks for your kind words. I also went by Irrawaddy from Mandalay to Bagan (I love the trips by the rivers ). But Irrawaddy is the main artery of Myanmar, with the big traffic of various ships. The Lemro river is of very local importance, it goes somehow nowhere.

Kind regrads Malgo
