Great mcmtanyel 2019-02-21 19:25

Hello Mariusz,
I do not know what to think about Brexit. I think the Brits should be more concerned about the non-Western immigrants from their former colonies than other Europeans.
Regards,
MT

Default To mcmtanyel: good point

Hi Murat,
you have touched a very important point which could not be however raised in the discussion because it is politically a very sensitive issue.
The government has showed evidences that Europeans who moved to Britain contributed positively to GDP, work more and use the social welfare less than British people and/or immigrants from other countries. In the campaign before the voting the government not only omitted this fact but even pretended they have no such evidence. Pro-Brexiters were not subtle eough to differentiate at all. Anti-Brexiters were afraid to touch this subject in spite of the evidence which they had in their hands. And so a point which could have saved Britain from hurting itself was not discussed due to political correctness.
Kind regards,
M
