Great alvaraalto 2018-11-29 7:02

Hello Bev,
You're right. The Romans were far ahead of their time in many ways. Certainly with their waterworks-constructions like their bathhouses and aqueducts. Did you know that they also used concrete for the aquaducts?
excellent presentation
Have a nice day. Groet Rob

Default To alvaraalto: Millennia ahead of their time!

Thank you for your critique, Rob.

The more I have read and seen of Roman architects, the more I respect their achievements.
There are some excellent BBC films as well as actual visits to sites.
The Roman concrete has proved amazingly strong and that used at sea locations seems to have developed greater strength in time, unlike modern concrete!

Thanks again.
Kind regards,
