Istanbul/Turkey photography tips

I would be visiting Istanbul next April.
Any pointers on which places to check out at sunset, or any pointers to good vantage points are welcome.
I would also be visiting Cappadocia, SE Turkey and Ephesus. So please suggest places to look out for.

Hi Ashwin,
I saw your this topic here today, I hope it is not too late.
You did not mention on your note that how many days you are planning to stay in Istanbul / Turkey. Istanbul is really big city and it is up to you which places are interesting for you. I am sure, if you will be more specific, like which places you would like to see and photographed, you can get more constructive replies on this subject.
