Bonjour Hervι,

Excellent work: the 1 sec exposure is just right to pick out the moving dancers from the static watchers. But there's sun (i.e. quite a lot of light), and I see that you used a slow 100 ISO, and a wide f/4 aperture, as well as a 1 sec shutter speed. How is that? Did you also use a very strong ND filter? Without something of the sort, this would be a complete white-out!

I notice they're not dancing "sur le pont d'Avignon"! Shame!

Thanks Will for your kind words.
This photo was taken ΰ 22h30, the light come only from the street lighting.
A ND filter was not necessary.

Thanks for the explanation. I was fooled into thinking that it was sunlight by the fact that it is very directional (unlike most street lighting), and because I think you must have white-balanced the artificial light. Unless it's a strong arc-light...
