Hi Korkut...I do agree...and actually I do have some shots from this shoot at this place with some people passing by, but I was not able to get the graphical effect as much, so I chose to post this on graphical effect alone.
Some of the pics with the people look ok. and yes..there is a person in this shot, it is my daughter, we were driving back to Brisbane, and we stopped when we saw this funny illuminated walkway. She is only 15 years old but is already a keen photographer.
I use a small Lumix LX3 and shoot in manual mode with a 'dynamic B&W' effect built in, which gives this hard contrast in b&w so easily. I like this style from your own work as well, and also of Daido Moriyama etc.
