Hello Ann,
Maybe this is not the average working elephant, judging from the way it has been painted, but it matches the colourful shop fronts very nicely. In the streets of India anything could be expected so nothing is really surprising. In Jaipur I once had the privilege to enter the private areas of the Maharajah's palace where the entrance was guarded by magnificently painted elephants. I got there just in time to see the Maharajah receive the King of Sweden and about a thousand rose petals falling down on the King and Queen from the ceiling. It was quite a show.
Best regards,

Default To batalay: African elephants

Hello Bulent,
I have been thinking about this and am not sure although I suspect that the larger African elephant could be more unpredicatable.
Best wishes, Ann
