Default Khmer Krohm ...

The photo is excellent !
It is a pity you didn't give any information
about it.
Soc Trang is in the Mekong Delta approx 250 km
south of Saigon. It is also known as Kleang and is one of the Khmer centers in the delta.
The monks are Theravada Buddhism monks - the religion of Cambodia and of the Khmers in the delta. There are over 16 million Khmers living in the Mekong delta and only 14 million inside modern Cambodia ... the Khmers call the delta area Kampuchea Krohm (lower Cambodia) and have lived there long before the Vietnamese .

Saigon is called Prei Nogkor , Cantho is called Prei Sey , Chau Doc is called Mot Chreu ...

The Khmers are probably the biggest minority in Vietnam , yet they have become totally invisible.
