I do both people photography and landscape photography, and I like both, but in the end I get more pleasure from the people photography. (See my Intro page for more on this topic.) But if landscapes are what you like, then go with that--though always with the thought in mind of not just repeating what you've seen others do. For a good description of why a person might choose landscape photography, see Bob Garrigus' post in this thread. (George should read this too--not to convert him, but to help him understand.)
