Default To il_corsaro_nero: Ciao Benedetto!

Hi - no I wasn't in the performance - although sometimes as a photographer I have been pulled into performances - once I was decked in a coat of colourful ribbons at 7 am in the morning and 'forced' to dance clashing heavy sticks with the Morrismen of Leicester for their annula May Day ritual - my photographs of the event were much better aftert that!

Another time at a world cultural conference I passed a group of people rehearsing for a performance. They had been delegates at the conference and had joined a workshop which had been going on all week, at different times, to provide a performance to all these world cultural movers and shakers. After a few photographs of the group the group leader 'persuaded' me that I should join in with them - just for fun.....

....an hour later I was still there when they went into the immediate backstage area and before I knew it I was being bundled onto the stage with them.......OK....but the stage was the main concert hall at the prestigeous Sage Concert Hall in Newcastle/Gateshead and there were hundreds of people!!!!! My one big singing event!.....and after just one hour of singing with them!!! ;-))
